Help me, please!

Whew! I tried again and I think I´ve got it back. ____"" Well, no, maybe not. It´s back in word. Well, my appostrophy is an accent mark, too, I bet.

ññ;;ññ;;22@@"" left alt shift.

Hey Houscat, I just keep my keyboard on American English, then when I want the ñ, I hold down the Alt key and type 0241, then let go of the Alt key. An ñ magically appears.

Also, since I assume you need this for Spanish, here are some more codes:

Alt 0233 = é
Alt 0225 = á
Alt 0237 = í
Alt 0243 = ó
Alt 0250 = ú

You're welcome.
Stu

Oh, stu, with your sexy five stroke! but I've found that left Alt shift toggles the keyboards completely. Thank you though, you sweet thang!

Is there an easy way to get a pound sign (English currency) in the US keyboard layout?

What keyboard setup do you have? It might be a different Alt number for you. (EDIT: Oh, you said US English. Weird. Me too).
Try Alt 156, for example.

I'm a dick - you heard it here first!

My number lock was on and I was trying to use the other numbers.

Alt 156 works.

Thanks Stu
