FAP: Are you "Smell the glove?"
Me: No, no. You should say "DO you smell the glove?" And No, I do not.
FAP: Huh?
Me: Huh shrme huh? Do YOU smell the glove?"
FAP: No, I am not "smell the glove."
Me: No, DO you smell the glove?
FAP: I can not smell the glove. I'm Taiwanese.

FAP: Huh shrme huh? Are you "smell the glove?"
Me: Can you shoot me please?

Maybe it would be "smell this glove" after they've finished your rectal exam? After all, isn't it common knowledge that all foreigners are druggies?

The articles tone seemed to me to be one half-insulted, half -condecending, as if to get people a bit riled, but then let them feel superior in the end. Perhaps it's me 'thinking' too much :D

HEY the guys are called TVBS - that should mean anything no?????

Anyway, besides being known for being illegal, they are not known for being serious, so why don't they stick the BS somewhere only we know....

The white sun only seems to be offensive to Taiwan Independence supporters. The ROC is not an ex-western colony like Hong Kong or Macao, and commands far more respect from the CCP and mainland Chinese. The flag will stay the same, or the CCP can wait a hundred years.

In case you were really curious, mr. glove sir, I do try to my best to contribute and raise the level of discourse on this forum.... which, alas, can require quite a bit of time! But when I'm in the mood for a little juvenile socializing, I typically take that off-line and enjoy that in the real world ... rather than seeking out my "cyber-buddies".

(But hey, if I lived in a society where 99% of the locals couldn't communicate with me fluently and viewed me as a perpetual foreigner.... maybe I'd spend more time online, too! )

That was a pretty offensive little message, CC! How about all those Chinese students online with each other all the time? Pretty snide of you to drop "juvenile" "raising the discourse" and a stab at trying to make us feel uncomfortable about being in Taiwan. If that's all you have to say then why bother? Or should I say, Don't bother. Conceited racists we don't need.

I guess you like the fact that he was being deliberately irritating.

Well the Green Bridgade did gang up on him, when he was active.

What did you expect him to do? Fold without a fight?

I'm just more surprised at your reaction to his post long ago.

I'm not part of any green brigade. I just don't like asshole statements.
