墨氏 near high-speed rail station in Zuoying. It's not quite authentic, but price is unbeatable. I often see expats eating at the restaurant. Everytime I go to Pingdong, I stop by Zuoying for 1 hour for the super performance/price ratio in this restaurant.
If one is able to draw (2/10), intelligent (10/100), vegetarian (2/100), able to write songs (1/3000), he/she is one of 920 lonely people out of the world population.

Mayan Grill, of course. For the margaritas alone, but also because I can bring my 20 month old and no one looks at me funny.

Yes, but doesn't Mayan Grill cost about one bajillion NT$ per item?

Can you give more information? I find myself near Zuoying station frequently looking for food.
Still trying to understand the culture.

If you can afford T.G.I. Fridays, you can afford Mayan Grill. It's excellent value. I had dinner there last week and was very impressed. I'll probably get around to writing my review later tonight or tomorrow.

I already voted for Tacos2go, but need to shout out to the new Macho Taco near Shi-Da. The food seems to be a litle better than the Zhongxiao branch, with a refreshing atmosphere and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and windows.
Still trying to understand the culture.
