EDIT - the pressure maps don't really show Taiwan getting much lower than 1005MPa for the next week.
They showed it on Monday-Wednesday next week. Yesterday they showed it hitting the south part of the island. This morning it was curving northward and missing the island and becoming a monster when it hits Japan. Now it barely forms and is headed out to sea next week.
People love windyty and it looks really cool but these week plus in advance forecasts that they show are extremely inaccurate as far as where something is going to go. They give you a good idea that something is brewing between the Philippines and Japan though FWIW.
