Transfering money to the UK

Postby sgtaipei » 23 Feb 2016, 12:31

Is Anyone familiar with the best and cheapest way to transfer money from a Taiwanese bank account to a UK account? I'd find any suggestions very helpful. I've already tried asking at my bank (Bank of Taiwan) but there seems to be a problem with the amount of time I have left on my ARC.

Thanks

I was moving GBP to Taiwan, but the reverse might work. You'd need to transfer the money into your wai-bi (foreign currency) account, and then arrange a GBP-GBP Swift payment back to the Uk.
It's raining again here.

A wicked wind whips up the hill, a handful of hopeful words.

I always use the post office. It takes 10 days or so but they only charge a couple of hundred NT
