Taipei Business Subsidy

Has anyone tried applying for the Taipei City Government Business Subsidy, I was interested in applying but was wondering if anyone here had any experience in this. Don't want to waste my time if the government is only really looking to provide the subsidy to locals.

I haven't applied myself because my company is not registered in Taipei, but last year I went to an event hosted by the Taipei city government that specifically promoted the subsidies to foreign-owned businesses. During the event, there were several presentations by foreigners explaining how they went through the application process and what kind of subsidies they got.

Unfortunately, it was a while back and I didn't get contact details from the presenters, but two of the companies that presented where WooGo Juice and Enspyre. Try to get in touch with them and see if you can find a time to sit down with the founders and chat.
