Nice modern bed

Discussions about how to find those things that are not immediately obvious

Forum rules
1) Please search  before posting. Note that you should also search content-relevant forums (like Food & Drink for those items, and not just WCIF). If there is a content-relevant forum, the thread should be there, not here.

2) Please append your request to an existing thread if you find a stale one, rather than starting a new one.

3) Please post separately  for each search item, not one thread for "olives and sour cream". Two threads, one for each. This makes it much easier for the moderator to merge your thread with an existing one, if any.

Of course, if you still can't find what you're looking for, please do feel free to post, and we'll do our very best to help you find what you need. If you have any trouble using the search function or the forum, please don't hesitate to send a PM (private message) to the Where Can I find...? moderator asking for help. Happy posting!!! :rainbow:

Nice modern bed

Postby Captain » 28 Jun 2016, 17:03

Hi,

I would need to buy a couple of beds.
Went to Ikea and bought one but would like to find something a bit nicer but still modern and stylish for the last one.

Any idea where to look ?

You might try SOGO or HOLA. Alternatively, I think there are some stores in Neihu, withing a radius of the Costco that sell furniture (sorry, don't know exact location)

The center of al furniture stores/factories is in Wugu. There you can browse to your heart's content, and if still not enough, then order custom made.

Then there are other options around Taipei. Heping West Road for example has a large, economical to high end selection of stores. I found my European made mattress there.

Xindian also has large furniture warehouses around Carrefour, a la Neihu. We used to have more, but the ones still remaing -on Baozhong road- have direct links to factories and are open to negotiations.

BTW, IKEA has had problems with furniture and formaldehyde before.

Many thanks, I will have a look to those places asap.

I heard about Ikea problems in the USA, it is just that it is still a style that I like.
